I don’t know why I very often come back to this picture I did in Montana with Alison. It might be the story of this amazing town where the course of the copper suddenly dropped in a glance and the minors working and living there had to leave the city. Tough story that left the town nearly empty. I love the people still living there. Vietnam veteran bikers with their long hairs floating in the wind, Hells Angels crossing on their wild Harley-Davidson the deserted streets all days barfly behind the bar counters inviting you for a drink, majestic Montana's mountains showing at the end of a lone street. There are absolutely no laws about how a picture will result when you shoot and no laws about how people will like it or not. I really like this very simple one and I still wonder why. It might be Alison’s absolute bewitching beauty and charm, might be Montana's magic Rocky Mountains still very alive in my mind, or the still lasting taste of that very last drink with this very cool bar talk with those very warm dudes.
